One of Bench’s best selling overland tours is their Cape to Kruger Overland Tour. As the name suggests the tour leaves from Cape Town, travelling up to Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe before heading back to South Africa and ending up in Kruger National Park for the ultimate safari experience.

This exciting 26-day overland camping tour includes all the key highlights you would hope to discover on your African adventure. It makes its way up from South Africa to Namibia where you can watch the sunrise from the top of Dune 45 in Sossusvlei and incorporates a trip to Orange River, a visit to bustling Swakopmund and a safari in Etosha National Park. From Etosha the trip heads to Botswana for a two-night adventure in the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park where you can watch the sun set over the stunning Chobe River, widely known for its spectacular elephant population.

Up next is arguably one of the adventure highlights of the entire trip, a visit to the iconic Victoria Falls! Then it’s back to South Africa and the start of the Kruger leg of the tour. Spot the big 5 on safari before returning to Johannesburg, visiting Gods Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Blyde River Canyon along the way.
