Family owned since November 1933, this international award-winning private game reserve is located in the finest territory of the world famous Sabi Sand. It stretches along the perennial Sabie River which forms its natural boundary with the Kruger National Park. The land, which has been owned by the More Family for four generations, is a place of rarity and carries with it a passion which can only be instilled by a great family history. Lion Sands offers four lodges in this region, Ivory Lodge, River Lodge, Tinga Lodge and Narina Lodge (are common rated), together with their sister property - Marataba Safari Lodge located in the Marakele National Park, in the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains.
