On arrival at Maun Airport please connect with your light aircraft to Pom Pom Airstrip. This is a flying time of approximately 25 minutes. On arrival at Pom Pom Airstrip you will be met and transferred to the camp. (D)

Pom Pom is located in the central reaches of the Okavango Delta in a private concession area to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. Surrounded by wonderful Okavango scenery this is a camp for the safari traditionalists as it offers warmth and comfort but not the luxurious trappings associated with so many of Botswana’s camps. There are just nine large tents each with en suite showers which are open to the stars for a true bush experience. The dining area, lounge and bar are situated under shady mangosteen trees and overlooks a scenic lagoon. As there is no electricity in the camp a wonderfully warm atmosphere is created by paraffin lamps. Activities are 60% land and 40% water – but dependant on water levels. Guests can choose from game drives, nature walks and mokoro excursions. Night drives in open 4X4 land rovers are also an attraction. Birding enthusiasts can enjoy Pels Fishing Owl, African Fish Eagle, Giant Eagle Owl, White Backed Vultures and a variety of other Okavango species.
