Selinda Camp is set on the banks of the Selinda Spillway in northern Botswana’s startlingly beautiful and remote 130,000 hectare Selinda Reserve. Home to large herds of elephant and buffalo, this powerful place is one of the last great bastions of the endangered wild dog. Owned by Great Plains Conservation, the camp offers nine luxury tents on raised decks under cool thatch canopies with wonderful views over the floodplains and their resident game. Each spacious tent is beautifully appointed with furniture and features that have been collected from around Africa. Set apart from main area is a refreshing pool, art gallery, wine cellar and library.

Trip itinerary

Day 1

Transfer by light aircraft from Maun Airport to the Selinda airstrip. This is a flying time of approximately 60 minutes. (D)

Accommodation: 2 nights Selinda Camp
