Trip itinerary
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha (approximately 55 KM / 1 hour).
Accommodation: 1 night Four Points by Sheraton
Established 1894, this hotel is believed to be one of the oldest hotels in East Africa. Here, surrounded by the history of a bygone era, traditional ambience is effortlessly combined with the style and service you want when travelling. The hotel features 106 stylish rooms, Wi-Fi, a 24-hour gym and four authentic restaurants and bars. Overlooking the gardens, the Parachichi Restaurant, meaning ‘avocado’ in Swahili, is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A terrace overlooking the tropical garden invites to dine alfresco. Take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool and relax at Bustani Pool Bar.
After breakfast meet your driver/guide for a briefing and drive in 4X4 safari vehicle into Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (approximately 175 KM / 3.5 hours). (BLD)
Accommodation: 2 nights Ngorongoro Farm House
Ngorongoro Farm House is a small and exclusive lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano, only 5 kilometres from the Ngorongoro Lolduare Gate. The lodge was built to offer clients an original experience reminiscent of the atmosphere of the old days. The 52 spacious cottages are built on the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials and full of details of good taste, with the purpose of offering our clients an imaginary journey to the life of the days gone. Ngorongoro Farm House is a perfect stopover within any safari in the northern circuit of Tanzania and a privileged place to visit the Crater or enjoy a bunch of additional activities.
Get the adventure started with a drive down the steep valley (about 600m) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is known for its unusual sights including the rare black rhinos. After spending the full day in the crater, with a packed lunch, you will return to the lodge for dinner. (BLD)
After breakfast you will travel to the Serengeti National Park, with a stop enroute at Ol’Duvai Gorge. Here in the ‘cradle of mankind’ the skull of a human being was found which is believed to be the oldest ever discovered. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (approximately 200 KM / 4 hours). (BLD)
Accommodation: 2 nights Serengeti Kati Kati
Located in the heart of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, Serengeti Kati Kati is a mobile tented camp designed to deliver an authentic safari experience while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint. Surrounded by sweeping plains rich in wildlife, the camp captures the spirit of early African exploration while offering modern comforts. Guests enjoy communal dining in a central mess tent and evenings gathered around the campfire beneath star-filled skies after exciting game drives. Its prime location in the Seronera region provides exceptional opportunities to witness the Great Migration and spot predators such as lions and cheetahs.
The camp features approximately 10 comfortable canvas tents, each thoughtfully designed to blend simplicity with convenience. Every tent includes en-suite bathrooms, cosy bedding, and a private veranda for uninterrupted views of the surrounding wilderness. The intimate setup ensures a personalised experience, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the Serengeti while enjoying attentive service and a relaxed, authentic safari atmosphere.
Enjoy a full day of quality African safari time in the Serengeti National Park. Home to a vast array of Tanzania’s wildlife, there will be plenty of opportunities to see the 'Big Five', but to increase your chances a picnic lunch is provided so you won’t have to look away for a second! Dinner and overnight at your lodge. (BLD)
After breakfast, enjoy morning game drive to Seronera Airstrip for scheduled flight to Arusha. Meet on arrival at Arusha airport and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward arrangements. (BL)
