On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will proceed to clear immigrations and custom procedures. Thereafter, you will be met by a representative from Primate Expeditions just outside the baggage area and transferred to the hotel (normal check-in time is 14h00).
This morning after breakfast you will be met by your driver / guide for your drive to Kibale Forest Reserve via Mityana and Fort Portal, in a breathtaking landscape that forms the Albertine western Rift Valley. You will have several stop overs to relax and enjoy the countryside, traditional homesteads and farms. Enjoy a hot lunch at a local restaurant in Fort Portal. Proceed to Turaco Treetops with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. (BLD)
Day 3 - Chimp Trek & Bigodi Swamp Walk
Today you enter the forest in search of the cheeky chimpanzees as well as other primates. Later go for a swamp walk in Bigodi. (BLD)
Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the early morning you will enjoy a game drive in the Kasenyi area, within Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be on the lookout for lions, buffalos, elephants and a large number of Uganda Kobs and other antelopes. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax until lunch time. This afternoon you will enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel (approx. 2 hours) in search for the hippos, crocodiles, great herbs of buffaloes and lots of water birds. (BLD)
Day 5 - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 7 - Bwindi National Park
Today you will set off on your Uganda gorilla trekking adventure in the Bwindi National Park, home to half of the world’s total mountain gorilla population. While trekking through the dense forest you will have the opportunity to view the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Looking deep into the expressive brown eyes of the Gentle Giants of the Bwindi surely is the most exciting and poignant wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer. After this captivating and unforgettable experience you will head back to the lodge. (BLD)
GORILLA TRACKING: The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, is abundantly rewarded with the lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will have an opportunity to be within metres of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities. Day 8 - End of your Gorillas in the Mist Trek
After breakfast you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip for your Aerolink flight to Entebbe. On arrival at Entebbe Airport you will connect with your onward flight. (B)
