For travellers seeking the ultimate Tanzanian adventure, take a journey through some of the most well known game parks as well as those less frequented, and more off the beaten track. Travel to the Serengeti National Park with its vast plains, the unique and world renowned Ngorongoro Crater, the secluded wilderness area of Tarangire National Park, an off-road adventure with night drives and walking safaris, and finish the safari in the more remote and true wilderness of Ruaha National Park in the south.
Day 1 - Arusha
On arrival into Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay. (D)
Lying on the gentling rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any African safari. Comprising of 30 Plantation Houses – inclusive of 12 Plantation Suites – that radiate out into the evergreen coffee fields, Arusha Coffee Lodge has been designed around the original landowner’s home that dates back to the early1900’s.
Day 2 - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you will transfer to the airport for short flight to Tarangire National Park where you will spend two nights at Tarangire Tree Tops and enjoy the time on day and night game drives in open safari vehicles as well as guided walks. (BLD)
Tarangire Treetops is located within the 57000 acre Tarangire Conservation Area straddling the wet-season migration route into the adjacent Tarangire National Park. Home to a unique ecosystem, the area has all the same species of wildlife as the Tarangire National Park, including buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard and elephant. Huge herds of elephant frequent the site of the camp on their way to watering in the Sand River, ensuring year-round resident game. Tarangire Treetops features 20 luxury ensuite rooms, built a top tree-attached platforms, overlooking the Tarangire Sand River. The camp has been superbly blended into the environment with the sleeping platforms built into a variety of Baobab, Mopani and Wild Fig trees. Each ensuite unit has a private veranda and lounge area, with sweeping views over our private Conservation area.
Day 3 - Tarangire National Park

Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater
This morning after breakfast transfer to the airstrip for flight to Manyara and onward road transfer to Karatu. (BLD)

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater
The morning begins early with a descent into the crater, a drive of scenic beauty, with animals roaming freely through lush forests to the banks of the lake and surrounding marshes. A picnic lunch is provided. You will return to the lodge late afternoon, in time for some relaxation or indulge in an optional spa treatment. (BLD)
Day 6 - Serengeti National Park
This morning after breakfast transfer to Manyara airstrip for scheduled flight to the Serengeti National Park. On arrival you are met and transferred to Serengeti Pioneer Camp for three nights. After lunch enjoy an afternoon open vehicle game drive. (BLD)

Day 9 - Ruaha National Park
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Ruaha National Park via Arusha where on arrival you are met and transferred to Jongomero Camp for three nights. (BLD)
Under the magnificent shade trees, on the banks of a seasonal river in the remote southern sector of the Ruaha National Park, Jongomero is gloriously isolated. Far from the madding crowds, this secluded idyll offers a chance to discover true unadulterated wilderness.
