    Day 1 – Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

    Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met by your driver for a comfortable road transfer to the Greater Kruger area and the lodge nestled in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve—an exclusive and unfenced section of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. If time allows, enjoy your first afternoon game drive, offering your first glimpse of Africa’s iconic wildlife. Return to the lodge to settle in and unwind with a gourmet dinner, followed by a peaceful evening beneath the stars. (Note: Afternoon Game Drives in the afternoon depart the lodge at 16h30 in summer and at 15h30 in winter.) (D)

    Day 2 to Day 4– Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

Set out on exhilarating morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, guided by experienced rangers and trackers in search of the Big Five and other iconic species. Guided bush walks may also be arranged, offering a slower-paced exploration of the reserve’s smaller wonders—from animal tracks to unique plants and birdlife. Between activities, unwind at the lodge’s infinity pool, enjoy gourmet meals, or sip sundowners overlooking the riverbed. (BLD)

    Day 5 - Franschhoek

    After a final early morning safari and breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Cape Town (Flights not included in costing). On arrival, a private driver will meet you for your scenic transfer to the Cape Winelands. Your destination is Franschhoek—South Africa’s gourmet capital—nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by majestic mountains and sprawling vineyards. Check in to your elegant boutique hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. (B)

    Day 6 - Franschhoek

This hop-on-hop-off experience allows you to explore charming wine estates at your own pace, tasting award-winning wines and enjoying beautiful vineyard views. Stop for lunch at one of the many gourmet restaurants enroute (at own expense) or simply soak in the serenity of this historic valley. (Transfers to/from The Franschhoek Wine Tram terminal are not included. It is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and transfers can be arranged with the hotel directly). (B)

    Day 7 – Cape Town

    After breakfast, you’ll be transferred from the Winelands to the lush suburb of Constantia on the slopes of Table Mountain. This leafy and historic part of Cape Town is known for its grand estates, vineyards, and peaceful atmosphere. The Last Word Constantia offers a refined retreat, perfectly placed for exploring the surrounding region.

    A place of living beauty, sculpted to perfection by the passing eras. Here, at the centre of the Cape Peninsula, wine-making is artistry. The rise and fall of whitewashed gables. A walk down an avenue of oak trees. This is the setting for The Last Word Constantia. Guests are presented with a choice of nine classically furnished hotel rooms: five suites and four superior double rooms. Relaxation areas command arresting vistas of the Constantia valley. Take it all in. Welcomed seclusion is provided by a sunken pool, surrounded by an expansive tanning deck.     Day 8 – Cape Town

    Today, set off on a professionally guided half-day tour showcasing the highlights of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Discover the city’s fascinating history with stops at key landmarks, including the leafy Company’s Garden, the historic Castle of Good Hope, and the vibrant Bo-Kaap neighbourhood with its iconic colourful houses. Then, weather permitting, take the cable car up Table Mountain (ticket not included) for panoramic views over the city and ocean. Return to Constantia for a relaxed afternoon. (B)

    Day 9 – Cape Town

    This is your day to explore at your own pace. You might choose to add on a Peninsula Tour, browse boutique galleries, or head to the nearby Atlantic Seaboard for a scenic coastal drive. With no fixed plans, it’s the perfect chance to reflect on your journey so far and enjoy the comfort of your boutique hotel. Enjoy a complimentary 3-course dinner from a set menu (drinks excluded and for own account). (BD)

    Day 10 – End of your Last Word Luxury Escape

    After a final breakfast in the peaceful Constantia Valley, a private transfer will take you to Cape Town International Airport for your onward arrangements. (B)
