Day 1 - Hwange National Park
Route: Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park – 200km
This morning you leave the rumble and adventure of Victoria Falls behind you as you make the journey south to Hwange National Park. Hwange is the largest of Zimbabwe’s national parks and offers excellent opportunities for viewing the diversity of wildlife that calls the park home. (LD)

Overland Vehicles
The overland vehicles offer forward facing seats, individual USB ports, large tinted windows/shading, small lockers, an onboard informal area ideal for socializing, a fold out awning and outdoor kitchen.
Safari Vehicles
Nomad Africa Adventure Tours uses a range of different safari style vehicles when game viewing in the National Parks. The safari vehicles are able to handle rougher terrains/conditions than the larger overland vehicles, this is ideal for game viewing.
Day 2 - Hwange National Park
Home to the big-5, Hwange National Park also offers a wide variety of plains game and birdlife. You will spend the day game driving (in open 4×4 vehicles) through Hwange in search of the animals. (BLD)

Day 3 - Matopos National Park
Route: Hwange National Park to Bulawayo – 300km
After breakfast you continue south towards Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe. Your afternoon will be spent exploring the Matopos National Park with a local guide. The park received recognition as a UNESCO natural World Heritage Site in 2003 and includes an intensive protection zone that is home to both Black and White Rhinoceros. Named after the Ndebele word “Matobo “, whose meaning “bald heads” refers to the rounded granite hills that surround it. You return to Bulawayo and your overnight stop for the night. (BLD)

Day 4 – Masvingo
Day 5 – Tshipise
Route: Masvingo to Tshipise – 375km
Leaving the sites of Zimbabwe behind you cross the Limpopo River and enter South Africa this afternoon. Your overnight stop allows you an opportunity to end the day with a swim in the hot springs of Tshipise. (BLD)

Day 6 - End of your Best of Zimbabwe
Route: Tshipise to Johannesburg – 500km
This morning you take the highway south to Johannesburg, arriving at Belvedere Estate in the late afternoon and the end of your journey. (BL)
All travellers are invited to join for a traditional meal tonight. This can be booked with your guide on the day before arrival. Many great tales are shared and tonight is for celebrating the many wonders of African travel.
