Your journey begins in ‘The Mother City’, the colourful and cosmopolitan metropolis of Cape Town. Here in this epicurean Eden, you can experience rich history, vibrant cultures, and roaring nightlife, as well as its flourishing food scene; all under the watchful gaze of Table Mountain.
Your next stop is the charming village of Franschhoek, ‘French Corner’ in Afrikaans. Nestled peacefully amidst the Franschhoek Mountains, deep in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Franschhoek has made a name for itself on the world stage as the gourmet capital of South Africa. Sit back, relax, and indulge in the great wines, world-class restaurants, and historical sites on offer here.
Kruger Shalati is one of the most anticipated and exciting new properties in South Africa, and it is here where your journey concludes with a unique and luxurious four-day safari in the Greater Kruger.
Kruger Shalati, named after an African warrior queen, pays homage to the national park's origins as a travel destination, back when visits to the park were first permitted in the early 1920s. This newly refurbished train is permanently stationed on the historic Selati Bridge over the Sabie River, where 100 years ago trains would park overnight. The glass-walled, large train rooms allow for infinite views along the length of the majestic Sabie River while the style of the train is a celebration of African design in collaboration with local art and crafting skills. From here you can head out on safari, or why not simply spend an afternoon in the swimming pool watching the crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, and elephants below – a vista unlike any other!
Day 1 - Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 - Cape Town
Enjoy a full day Cape Point Peninsula tour. This popular tour offers a spectacular coastal journey through to Cape Point – the romantic meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The tour covers, the Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach – Penguin Colony, Hout Bay – optional boat trip to Seal Colony, Simonstown historical naval base, Fynbos vegetation, and a visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Day 3 - Cape Town

Day 4 - Franschhoek
After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Franschhoek for your Winelands experience. (B)
Day 5 - Franschhoek
Today you have the day to explore the Franschhoek wine area with the Wine Tram hop-on hop-off tour. This is one of the best ways to discover the true essence of the Franschhoek Valley – picturesque vineyards, breath-taking scenery, warm hospitality, world-class cuisine, fine wines and a 300 year history.(B)

Day 6 - Kruger
You will be collected from your hotel this morning and transferred to Cape Town Airport for you scheduled flight (not included in price) to your next destination. (BLD)
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

Permanently stationed on the historically-rich Selati Bridge above the Sabie River, Kruger Shalati will offer the most unique luxury accommodation in a re-envisioned train which will pay homage to the guests who explored the park nearly 100 years ago while welcoming new explorers from near and far. The train celebrates where the first visits to the iconic park were allowed in the early 1920s, the train would park overnight in the exact spot where Kruger Shalati will be positioned.
The glass-walled, large train rooms allow for infinite views along the length of the majestic Sabie River while the style of the train is a celebration of African design in collaboration with local art and crafting skills. Day 7 to Day 8 - Kruger
