Little Makalolo is one of Wilderness Safaris 'Classic' camps, hidden right in the heart of Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park on a private premier wildlife concession. Located in the heart of one of the best game viewing areas of the Park, Little Makalolo overlooks a vibrant waterhole. Game viewing is productive year-round and wildlife is frequently encountered in the area including lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah and leopard. In summer, wildebeest, zebra and eland are found in abundance on the open plains, while in winter elephant congregate in enormous numbers around the waterholes. This intimate bush camp offers sublime privacy and authenticity - with a long serving, warm and welcoming staff.

Day 1 - Hwange National Park
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred by road to Hwange National Park, transfer time is approximately 2 hours. When you arrive at the park gate you will be met by a representative of the camp and commence a game drive on your way to camp. (D)
Accommodation: 2 nights Little Makalolo.Little Makalolo lies in the heart of one of the best game viewing areas in Hwange National Park. Overlooking a vibrant waterhole, it offers privacy for guests who enjoy small camps and a sense of remoteness. The camp’s six traditional-style tents – including a family unit – are spacious and en-suite, with indoor and outdoor showers. Solar power is used for tent lights and to heat water, ensuring a lighter environmental footprint.
Linking the tents to the main area are teak walkways. Here a false mopane tree in the centre of the camp shades a separate dining and living area with an open fire deck for those convivial evening fireside tales under the stars. A raised pool deck, which also shelters the bar and breakfast ‘room’, offers evocative views of the much-frequented waterhole in front of camp.Day 2 - Hwange National Park

Day 3 - End of your Little Makalolo Safari
After breakfast you will enjoy a final game drive on your way to the park gate, on arrival you will be met and transferred by road back to Victoria Falls and your onward arrangements. (B)
