Mhondoro Game Lodge is an ideal safari destination to experience the magic of the ‘Big Five’ at home in the African bush. Decorated with an Africa-meets-Europe chic design, the five suites and exclusive-use villa, invite guests of all ages to make themselves at home. The lodge is connected by a 65 metre tunnel to an underground hide, providing the opportunity to get up-close to the animals that come to drink at the busy waterhole. Situated within the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve, guests can explore the abundant wildlife on game drives with experienced rangers or relax on the expansive wooden decks overlooking the waterhole and reserve. Other facilities on offer include a fully equipped gym, heated pool, spa and sauna.

    Day 1 - Welgevonden Game Reserve

    On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will be met and transfer to Welgevonden Game Reserve Main Gate and then meet the hosts from your accommodation for a transfer to the lodge. (LD)

In an under three-hour drive or a one hour flight from Johannesburg, you can escape into this ideal safari destination to experience the magic of the Big 5 at home in the African bush.
