Safari operator African Bush Camps invite you to walk in the footsteps of ancient explorers, in one of Africa’s last remaining wild frontiers, Mana Pools National Park. Set on the banks of one of the oldest rivers in the world, the luxurious yet authentic, Nyamatusi Camp was inspired by the traditional custodians of the land who respected the river as the source of life. Opening their doors in April 2019, the design of the camp subtly incorporates the element of water and pays homage to the astounding beauty of the mighty Zambezi River. Guests are able to spend their days walking in the footsteps of ancient explorers and following the tracks of elephant. Here, visitors can experience game drives and canoeing safaris and experience an authentic view of the old untouched Africa.

    Day 1 - Mana Pools National Park

    Today you will fly from Harare Airport to Mana Pools airstrip to begin your safari package, flight time is approximately 90 minutes on a light aircraft which has luggage restrictions applied. Maximum of 15kg checked luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per person. On landing in Mana Pools you will be met and transferred by road to your camp. (D)

    If time permits you will join an afternoon game drive.

    Accommodation: 2 nights Nyamatusi Camp.

    Set in one of the wildest and most remote parts of Africa, on the banks of one of the oldest rivers in the world, Nyamatusi allows guests to experience an authentic view of the old untouched Africa. Inspired by the traditional custodians of the land who respected the river as the source of life, the design of the camp subtly incorporates the element of water and pays homage to the astounding beauty of the mighty Zambezi River.

    Consisting of six luxury tented suites with uninterrupted views of the river and escarpment beyond, the camp inspires a feeling of remoteness. There is an abundance of game and birds dance on the breeze. Guests are able to spend their days walking in the footsteps of ancient explorers and following the tracks of elephant. Here, visitors can watch the drama of the wild play out before their eyes on game drives and canoeing safaris and marvel at the incredible sights and sounds of one of Africa’s last remaining wild frontiers.

    Day 2 - Mana Pools National Park

    Spend a full day exploring the area with the activities offered by the camp. The activities include game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, birding and fishing (catch and release). (BLD)

    Day 3 - End of your Nyamatusi Camp Safari

    After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Harare and your onward arrangements. (B)
