We have nothing but the highest praise for Bench Africa. We have travelled to Africa with Bench twice and both times our itinerary has been very thoughtfully planned for us with exceptional insight as to what is available and what would best suit our needs. Both times we travelled independently but the supberb organsiation meant that we never felt alone even when tranferring flights within an airport, we were meet and assisted on to our next leg. Every detail had been considered. On our first trip we encountered some significant personal challenges that had nothing to do with Bench, however they provided us with amazing ongoing support for months after our return which went well beyond their responsibilies or obiligations. We will always remember the human element that defined their service to us. They are far more than just a travel company - they care for their clients.
We usually will book and plan our own adventures however Africa is a very complex and overwhelming in choice destination. It is not something we could arrange on our own. We are so grateful that we saw the advertisement for Bench in the paper. They made a our decision making much simplier.
We travelled to South Africa, Zimbazee, Botswana and Zambia. So if you are planning to go to Africa we would thoughly recommend using Bench.

Day 1 - Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Accommodation: 3 nights Queen Victoria Hotel.The Queen Victoria Hotel is a unique five-star boutique hotel set apart by the attention to detail given by the creative team responsible for its development, who achieved this through their unwavering passion for awe-inspiring design. From the creative brief of ‘where classic elegance meets contemporary design’, every effort has been made to ensure that the 35-room Queen Victoria Hotel is a haven of calm, luxury and understated opulence amongst the hustle and bustle of Cape Town’s popular V&A Waterfront.
Day 2 - Cape Town
Enjoy a half day City & Table Mountain tour. Take a step back in time and join us on an exploration of the “Mother City” – its views, its history and its people. Travel by cable car to the top of the world famous Table Mountain and enjoy the spectacular views of the city (weather dependant) on a city orientation tour. Table Mountain ticket excluded (as weather permitting). (B)
Day 3 - Cape Town
Enjoy a full day Cape Point Peninsula tour. This popular tour offers a spectacular coastal journey through to Cape Point – the romantic meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The tour covers, the Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach – Penguin Colony, Hout Bay – optional boat trip to Seal Colony, Simonstown historical naval base, Fynbos vegetation, and a visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Entrance fees are included. Drinks are excluded. (B)
Day 4 - End of Queen Victoria Hotel Stay
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport. (B)
