    Day 1 – Victoria Falls

    On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred by road to Batonka Guest Lodge. This is a transfer times of approximately 20 minutes, during which time your driver will give you a brief but informative commentary on the area and places of interest.

    In the late afternoon enjoy the Sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. The total cruise time is approximately 3 hours. Sunset cruises arrive back after sunset. From the boats, sightings of elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There are also abundant, hippos, crocodiles and birdlife. An experienced guide accompanies each cruise and has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area.

    Accommodation: 3 nights Batonka Guest Lodge.

    Perfect for the discerning guest who is looking for a small, personalized lodge in the centre of Victoria Falls with a high level of service. Set in lush gardens, a tranquil haven away from the bustle of town but within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The main lodge offers indoor and outdoor dining, a cosy lounge and beautiful veranda opening out onto the surrounding gardens. Facilities include a swimming pool, activities desk and curio shop. The lodge offers 22 well-appointed rooms with elegant, contemporary style décor encompassing Victoria Falls’ colonial past and African flavour. All rooms are air conditioned and have en-suite facilities. Each room has a veranda opening out onto the surrounding gardens. Several rooms have inter leading doors making it ideal for families.

    Day 2 – Victoria Falls

    Enjoy a morning scheduled Tour of the Falls. A natural phenomenon and one of the seven natural Wonders of the World, the Victoria Falls is an immense curtain of water cascading over 100m. Around 550 million litres flow over the edge every minute, at peak flow this increases to 750 million litres. Around the Falls is rainforest sustained by the spray of the Falls with some plant species rarely found elsewhere in Zambia or Zimbabwe. (B)

    Day 3 – Victoria Falls

    Enjoy your day at leisure exploring Victoria Falls. (B)

    Day 4 – Hwange National Park

    Today you will be collected from your lodge for a road transfer to Hwange National Park. This is a transfer time of approximately 2 hours. At the entrance to the Park, you will be met by a representative from The Hide Safari Camp and continue with your game drive transfer to the lodge. (BD)

    Accommodation: 3 nights The Hide Safari Camp.

    The Hide Safari Camp is the product of our passion for nature in general, and Hwange National Park in particular. Built in 1992 by the Preston family, who remain deeply involved to this day, The Hide Safari Camp has earned its reputation as a consummate safari destination, for both the exceptional wildlife experience and the hospitality it offers.

    You will stay in one of just ten beautiful tented suites with views over the waterhole, where animals congregate day and night. Between game drives and walks in the National Park, there is plenty of time to relax in a comfortable lounge or sit quietly in a hide to watch the wildlife. After meals all together around a giant table or al-fresco under the Acacia trees, you can spend a lazy afternoon by the plunge pool or in the shade of your veranda.

    Day 5 to Day 6– Hwange National Park

    Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing activities. (BLD)

    Day 7 – End of Safari of Legends Tour

    This morning enjoy a game drive transfer to the Hwange National Park gate to meet your scheduled road transfer to Victoria Falls Airport. This is a transfer times of approximately 2 hours. (B)
