    Day 1 – Nairobi

    On arrival at Nairobi International Airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. The remainder of your day is at your leisure.

    1 night Four Points by Sheraton.

    Contemporary in design and created to delight the senses, the 172 room hotel offers all the modern amenities and comforts a traveller needs. From spacious rooms and signature Four Points beds, to rain showers and 42″ LED TVs they have thought of it all. And because you like to keep your body energized they have a rooftop pool and a fully-equipped fitness room. There is a variety of dining options because they know not everyone has the same taste.

    Day 2 – Naboisho Conservancy

    Arrive Masai Mara – Naboisho airstrip on the morning flight from Wilson Airport, where your Saruni Basecamp guide will be waiting to meet you. (BLD)

    Choose some rest and relaxation, wind down the day with night game drive looking out for the lesser-known nocturnal creatures with your expert Maasai guide under a starlit sky before heading to camp for dinner.

    3 nights Basecamp Wilderness.

    Basecamp Wilderness is a nostalgic tribute to the safaris of the early explorers and safari pioneers. Free from artificial luxury and modern disturbances and providing the perfect escape close to nature with optimal tranquillity and stunning sunrise views, Basecamp Wilderness is how safaris and safari camps were meant to be. Tucked away deep inside the “Saddle Valley” in the heart of Naibosho Conservancy, the 7 double tents and one Family tent allow for complete privacy and ultimate views of the savannah. The dining tent offers a romantic sitting area with comfortable leather chairs, carefully selected reading materials and a vintage gramophone. It is just you, the Maasai, the wildlife and the stars.

    Day 3 and Day 4 – Naboisho Conservancy

    Day 3 – Start your day with an early morning walking safari led by your Maasai guide, uncovering the hidden details of the Mara ecosystem. (BLD)

    Enjoy a leisurely bush breakfast with birds chirping in the backdrop and drive back to camp at mid-morning for some relaxation prior to lunch at camp.

    In the evening, your guide will continue to reveal the secrets of Kenya’s most prolific wildlife area, possibly rolling into an optional night game drive in search of nocturnal creatures.

    Conclude the day with dinner and storytelling around the campfire at camp under a starlit sky.

    Day 4 – Set off on an early morning game drive to look for the big cats and other predators of the Naboisho conservancy, returning to the lodge or camp for a sumptuous lunch. (BLD)

    Spend the afternoon exploring and see a different and less-explored corner of the Mara ecosystem – much more private, but still teeming with wildlife.

    Weather permitting, enjoy a starlit bush dinner in the heart of the wilderness, with Maasai warriors singing, dancing, and more stories around the fire.

    Day 5 – Lemek Conservancy

    After a relaxed morning and breakfast, enjoying a short game drive as you depart Naboisho conservancy enroute to Saruni Wild in Lemek Conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch and later embark on a thrilling game drive across the expansive wilderness. (BLD)

    Proceed with engaging in cultural emersion with the Warriors Academy or visit the local weekly market watching how trade livestock and other items, guided by your Maasai guide.

    End your day with a scenic sundowner and an optional night game drive before returning to camp for dinner and a restful night.

    3 nights Saruni Wild Camp.

    Saruni Wild is located on the world-famous Mara plains, in Lemek Conservancy, it is rich in wildlife and complete privacy. A small and intimate tented camp elegantly and comfortably furnished with all the necessary luxuries of a wild yet classic safari – hot water showers, flushing loos, open safari vehicles, Italian-inspired cuisine and exceptional service. The camp is located right in the heart of the Mara plains in a thicket of trees populated by abundant ‘plains game’ and right in front of the migration hotspots. Enjoy uninterrupted views from your private verandah, fire-lit meals under the vast African sky, guided game drives in complete seclusion led by Maasai warriors. Saruni Wild’s prime location is ideal for game-viewing, birdwatching, stargazing and for being immersed in nature – a truly unique and life-enriching safari experience of the remarkable Masai Mara, off the beaten track.

    Day 6 and Day 7 – Lemek Conservancy

    Day 6 – Set off on an early morning game drive to look for the wildlife endemic to Lemek conservancy, winding up with a bush breakfast. (BLD)

    Return to the camp for some relaxing spa treatments in your tent and more relaxation after lunch.

    Spend the late afternoon exploring and see a different and less-explored corner of the Mara ecosystem – much more private, but still teeming with wildlife.

    Conclude the day with dinner and storytelling around the campfire under a starlit sky.

    Day 7 – Set off on a full day game drive to the Masai Mara reserve in a private vehicle for some interesting wildlife sightings showcasing nature permits. (BLD)

    Choose some rest and relaxation, or a night game drive after dinner to enjoy while you watch passing wildlife.

    Day 8 – End of your Saruni Basecamp Safari

    Depart after breakfast with a short game drive enroute for morning flight from Mara Naboisho Airstrip to Wilson Airport Nairobi. (B)
